First time cat mom
My husband and I adopted a 4 year old orange DSH male cat today. I'm very excited to have him! We adopted him so I could have a "friend" while my husband worked (he works 7p - 7a five days a week).
I have some questions since I'm a first time cat owner. How long until he warms up to us? Will he have a favorite person? How often do I groom him (if I even have to)?
He's already very loving. He enjoys being petted and talked to. I think he's just having a hard time adjusting to his new place.
