How would you respond to this?

So me and husband (married for 17 years) aren’t speaking to each other and are sleeping in separate rooms. It’s going to be two weeks already. Honestly for me, I never felt relaxed because he can be so controlling with a bad temper and also rude😕 that I don’t know how I put up with him all these years 🤦‍♀️. I’m seriously done with him. The reason he still staying is because we hardly see each other because he works all the time. Well anyways I decide to put a door in my room because it doesn’t have one. Just a curtain that I put. So I texted him letting him know that my dad is coming over tomorrow to put me a door because my dad is a construction worker. And this was his response:

Because he always told me that he rather work so I could stay at home with the kids.
