Painful sex

Ladies... Ive been with my mans going on 4 years now... When we first started dating sex was great! It didn’t hurt it was fun and all that jazz. Here recently in the last year or so sex has become so painful, can barely enjoy it. We’ve tried different positions we’ve tried putting pillows underneath me for support. I’m not sure what’s going on. Do y’all think i should head over to the girly doctor and make sure everything okay down there or what? Thanks in advance for any advice
