Does taking Levothyroxine affect ovulation?

I have started taking levothyroxine for Hypothyroidism. Been on it for the past 4 weeks possibly.  Ive also been tracking my ovulation with the strips. I normally hit peak on cycle day 16 (today is day 18)  and i still have such a light test light. Could it be possible that the levothyroxine is changing when i ovulate?

Not the medication but possibly a side effect from your hypothyroidism. It should get better as your levels improve from the medication

We’re you testing before CD16? I’ve been on Levo for over 2 years now. I find that when my thyroid levels are low, I ovulate earlier in the month, and when they’re high, I ovulate later. That might just be me, but changing TSH levels effects all other hormones in your body and therefore, can affect when you ovulate

No. It absolutely should not. I am a rare case in which I have both hypo and hyperthyroidism. I have Graves disease and Hashimoto's disease. Neither has, thankfully, affected my ability to get pregnant however both of these conditions, not the medications, can affect your ability to get pregnant. It is absolutely a side effect from having thyroid conditions. Whether or not its caused a problem for you before :(
