Crib mattress

Question

Thoughts on this mattress? I don’t want to spend $100+ on a mattress but I want it to hold up and last a couple years. 
Also list some you recommended pls.

We just got the ikea crib mattress. I think it’s 45 dollars. It works pretty well!

I’d recommend a two-sided mattress. We didn’t move my daughter into her crib until 18 months anyway (she slept in a pack n play in our room before that). 
We have this one. It has an infant side and toddler side. It’s extremely firm (the toddler side is even more firm than it probably needs to be). But very safe, green guard gold certified. and it doesn’t have that noisy vinyl cover on it.

I got a Serta one from target for like $80 and it’s nice and firm! We didn’t want to go super expensive but wanted one that would last.

Foam is not hard enough for newborns. Newborns need something very firm so they don’t suffocate. 
You can get a $50-$60 crib mattress on amazon that’ll do just fine.
