Bassinet can’t take sheets

Question

I bought a pack and play with a bassinet but the mattress doesn’t come out of the bassinet so i can’t put sheets. Anything I can do for a cover? Anyone have this kind or similar?

Personally I got another mattress to put on top of the bassinet “mattress” measured to fit size, and then go fitted sheets for that one, mainly because I didn’t think it seemed thick or comfy enough, however I got these for my changing table and they are soft and waterproof so could be a good option to put underneath?

Make sure you check the manual and see that this is safe for unsupervised sleep before you do! Also adding an extra mattress isn’t advised as babies will be fine on a thin firm mattress. It’s actually best if you get something thick or extra it can create an unsafe sleep space.
