Should I text my bf first ?

So today morning my bf sent me a video of this girl that had bought her bf the new ps5 ( my bf is 22 and I’m 19) and as a joke he said “ I just want a ps5🥺” he had mentioned it couple times before too but we both know I’m not financially that strong to buy him a 500$ ps5 so we both know ( at least I assumed) that it is a joke. After he sent me that video today, I sent him a video back of this guy that bought his gf 4 bags of balenciagas ( on purpose) I should mention that my bf is not rich and Ik that so I never ask him to buy me things he just pays for the food mostly if we go out. Then he replied“ okay and ?” And then I said “ u sent me video of a girl buying her bf a ps5 and I sent u a vid of a guy buying his gf balenciagas 😂” then he said “ lolll u r such a kidddd “ and then I said “ I’m not but ok😂” and then he replied “ hey date a rich guy if you want balenciagas “ to which I replied “ bro how do you get offended when I send u the same content back ? And hey date a rich girl if you want a ps5” then he just replied “ bet” and I just liked the message and after that it’s been 10 hours and we haven’t talked. I know this argument was super stupid but I think he is at fault. At the same time idk if I should just text him and start a convo to get past the awkwardness. ( we have been dating for three months. I would be happy if u guys give me your insight
