Oh god.

My grandmother dying this month really set into perspective that one day my mom will die too. It made me face that.

There is so much stuff that my family finds important that’s been passed down generations and it’s like... very very important to them and there’s ALOT of it.

One day, it will just be me, my brothers and my cousins.

The rule is that these things go to the first borns. They get control of what happens to the most important stuff. I am a first born. My mom and aunt Halfed my grandmas stuff and then the less important things went to grandkids. And there’s still stuff left over, it has been extremely overwhelming.

I was thinking... I don’t even know what’s important and what’s not. One day when my mom and aunt are gone, there will be all this stuff that was very important to them that they want us to keep and I’m not even gonna know what it is. I felt this moment of panic all of the sudden while going through more of my grandmas stuff today.

So I asked my mom to write a will at 44 years old and I told her to write down what is important and what will go to who. I picked which first born cousin I trust the most to help me with stuff when our moms are gone.

So I have my mom writing a will at a young 44 years of age because I’m essentially having a midlife crisis on her behalf.

She’s more than willing, but I feel bad. I was crying and asked her to never ever die because there’s too much crap and if she does I will die because she’s my mom. She started giggling and then we both laughed. She said “you said there’s too much crap and I cannot agree more. There’s so much crap.” Lmfao
