How do you feel the baby movements?

I read some posts in which some of you mentioned that you are able to feel the movements of the baby at around 15 or more weeks. This is my first pregnancy and 16 weeks along and I don't know how it feels. Can you please tell me how to recognize a baby movement or how it feels when there is a baby movement? Just curious 😊

The best way I can describe is it feels like a muscle twitch. You know when sometime a muscle will twitch in your leg or back? EXACTLY like that. I never thought it felt like flutters or "butterflies" and "popcorn" lol I also didn't feel my first baby until 27 weeks because my placenta was in the front. Good luck momma! Congrats

I have felt flutters a couple of times and it's hard to explain... You just know. I have to be lying really still and paying attention to my body.

You feel fluttering early on but it progresses to more recognizable kicks n turns. Sometimes it feels like my stomach is doing somersaults or the literal butterfly in the stomach but I recognize it as baby. If you're tiny you might feel it earlier or drink/eat something sweet like orange juice

I asked my doc today about that, she said not usually until the 19th week especially for us first time moms, then it will feel like a gas bubble lol
