Conceiving after 2nd trimester loss

I was just wondering if anyone who has lost their baby in 2nd trimester has conceived again? When did you get your first period after delivery? How many cycles did you wait? My doctor had recommended 2-3 periods before trying again, but I feel so inpatient. I love my daughter and wish she could be here, but I want so bad to be pregnant again and have a healthy baby. The completely irrational part of me just wants to ignore waiting 2-3 cycles because I felt like I’ve always followed my doctors advice 100% and then my loss happened. I know there was nothing I did wrong, and completely out of my control. I guess it’s just a sense that we can plan and do everything right and bad stuff just happens.
