First prenatal appointment

Hi everyone!

I just found out I was pregnant. I went for blood work today to confirm, still waiting on that. But I did schedule my first prenatal appointment for around 8 weeks.

Can anyone tell me what to expect? The biggest thing I want to know is if I will get an ultrasound. My husband and I spent 3 years in infertility treatments and being pregnant hasn’t set in yet... I need to see an ultrasound for it to start sinking in. Will that happen at my 8 week appointment?

Any advice will be appreciated!
