VBAC or NOT

Dysheeka • #BoyMom May 2013 December 2020

Hey mamas, I need advice. I had a C-section seven years ago with my firstborn which was an elective C-section due to me honestly, just being scared. I was young I was 19 and I didn’t know what I was getting myself into so I opted for that option. The recovery wasn’t as bad as I thought and my body took the C-section really well. A year or so after I had my son I regretted not experiencing a vaginal childbirth, I always said if I was to have another one I would want to deliver vaginally. Now that I am 27 and almost 28 weeks pregnant I want to do a VBAC, my doctor isn’t concerned about anything. Again I’m getting scared. I don’t want to feel like I’m taking an easy way out because I really do want to experience a vaginal childbirth. But the more that I think about it the more my anxiety gets to an all-time high. I just need some advice or maybe some comforting please.
