Too early for names??

Question

I've been planning for years haha! I have so many girl names I love, but the boy names are harder for me. So far my top ones are -
Girl: Georgia, Kennedy (both have special meaning to me!)
Boy: Woodie, Landon, and as of last night Atticus is growing on me! (Don't think I'll convince the hubs of that one).

I was talking to some girlfriends last night and told them my #1 boy choice is Landon, and one of them got (playfully) upset and said she's wanted that for a boy for years! I feel for her, but oh well!

Hubby and I have had a list on my phone since before we even got married! We decided we wanted to do L names (my siblings and I are all A names and his are all J names), weird I know. Haha.

So...our girl name will be Lilyann Carlene Livingston. His moms middle name was Ann so we wanted to incorporate that into a first name since the tradition on my side is to use middle names that end in ene/ine (and we have since decided to use my moms middle name) and as it turns out his great grandmothers name was Lily which we didn't know until recently haha. We will prolly call her lily for short.

Then we liked Luke and Logan for boys but my best friend got upset cause she wanted to use Luke in the future so we decided on Logan Norris Livingston. Norris is Jacobs grandpas middle name.

I love all of those! And there are lots of people with the same names, she could still use it lol my DH and I have had ours picked out for about 3 or 4 years now. We've always wanted a little boy named Porter and a little girl name Eisley. ☺️

I know how you feel about friends calling dibs on names! Haha. We wanted to use leighton but someone beat us to it! I love Georgia and Kennedy! And I would certainly still use your boy name if it's a boy since you had a baby first! Haha

We're holding off until the gender scan to try to save 50% of brain power but we are both mentally putting some in the bank. Not settled on anything as yet. We are under discussion if surnames as not married and half if me thinks it should have the same identity/name as me but OH is the last in line do no one to carry his surname on. Neither of us are traditional at all and I really do understand. Think I will have to cave  but making my point first! Our surnames sound absolutely ridiculous as double barrelled so not an option. Ho hum!

C and I have been talking about names for years and about 6 months ago I started writing them down as they came up. Now we're in the process of narrowing down the list. I bought a baby name book and have been going through that too. I have a ton of girls names I like but they're either super popular right now (Emma, Olivia, Isabella) or they don't work with my last name (Lilliana). Boys names have been a lot harder to come up with, but my personal front runner is Killian.

Hehe well if we have a girl we would love to call her Elayna and for a boy we have nooooooooo idea!!!!!!!! We have gone through so many but can't find one so gonna save our brain power also and wait until we know the gender hehe
