16 month old babbling

Hello, LO just turned 16 months today. She can say words when she wants too. Like mommy, daddy, bye- bye, deer, but all the times it’s constantly babbling. Can’t won’t repeat anything I ask her too. She doesn’t call for me like I thought she should be by now!? She I be considered? The pediatrician said they don’t worry until 2 on language but it makes me nervous. I read to her daily, we read flash cards. How can I help her more!?
