Weird month any thoughts

So, I can’t find anything helpful online. This month I was 8 days late. I took a test the days I was supposed to start and it was negative. My cycles are very regular. I started what I thought was my period and bled for 3 days day two was a little heavy but normally mine last 5 days and are extremely extremely heavy. This was not. I’m still having some cramping and my nipples are still tender. I’m tempted to test again just because it was so unusual but I did have more than spotting on day 2 and I was under the assumption that if pregnant it wouldn’t be any clotting or heavier bleeding. What do you think?
