Diaper rash

My one month old has a diaper rash and it doesn’t seem to be going away I’ve tried Aquaphor, Vitamin A+D and Desitine any other recommendations? I also change his diaper about 14 times a day because he pees and poops a lot.

I had to go see my LOs pediatrician for her diaper rash that wouldn’t go away. Turns out it was a yeast infection. She gave me a special ointment to put on a couple times a day and it cleared right up. She told me to look for the little red bumps/dots to tell the difference between a normal rash and a yeast rash.

If it’s tea bad this stuff works great. Make sure you dry their bottom before applying any cream.

Sometimes its a yeast rash in which case anti fungals are needed. My ped had me mix lotrimin and 1% cortisone for my baby's yeast rash in the past.

I also recommend seeing a doctor. Our sons wasn’t going away. He was bleeding too. It was a yeast infection. We had changed him often, used diaper cream, nothing. They also say to let it dry a bit from wiping before putting the diaper on. (Only put recommendation, because it wouldn’t let me post without one. )

My pediatrician said to use baby oil instead of wipes to clean his tush when he has diaper rash let it dry and apply ointment. We use Boudreaux ointment

Try bag balm! It is a miracle. I glob it on my daughter and overnight she is healed! Also, change his diaper every 1-2 hours until his diaper rash goes away. 
In November my daughter got really sick for a week. She had explosive diarrhea and every time we changed her she was in so much pain from all the sores. Desitin, vitamin D, aquaphor, all that did nothing. So I tried bag balm in desperation and it worked like a charm!

Corn starch works really well. I use desitin normally but when they have a really bad rash I sprinkle corn starch on it.
