Am I being desperate or understanding?

Okay everyone... If you have time to read this here you go: so I already know the answer to my dilemma: “LEAVE HIM SIS AND STOP WASTING YOUR TIME” 
However I want to know what y’all would do.... so I met this guy fresh out of prison in Jan 2020, he friended me on FB and I decided to give him a chance. Initially I had my guard up and he wanted to work on a relationship. In June we went on a 2 and a half month break because we weren’t on the same page but we recently started seeing each other again and he now has another lady he is having sexual relations with but she has a boyfriend and he claims there is no feelings involved and he currently is not interested in a relationship with anyone and just focused on stacking his money and taking care of his child. but I am interested in a relationship now. And I realize that I have strong feelings for him and after getting to know him I can see myself with him. 
He is extremely honest with me even though it hurts. Which makes me appreciate him even more. So my question to you all, is should I be patient with him and see what the future holds? Or should I just say f**ck it and move on?

Say fuck it and move on. He’s let you know where he stands and you guys aren’t on the same page. This won’t be good for you in the long run if you guys want different things.

As soon as I read "fresh out of prison" it was nope. This guy doesn't exactly sound like a great dude. I'd be moving on.  He isn't wanting a relationship and you do so I think all things aside you have your answer.  You both want different things.

Don't wait for him. If you both end up single and interested down the line, you can try it then but for now, he's been clear he has no interest in a relationship. Don't put your life on hold for a maybe. 
Something important to note: he has no problems having sex with someone who is cheating on their partner. (Until further notice, you don't know that her boyfriend is aware and ok with her having a side piece.) It's difficult to be certain he isn't ok cheating on his own partners.

Something similar happened to me before.. I was talking to a guy and he was ready for a relationship but I just wasn’t feeling it at the time so I turned down the idea. Months later, my feelings got stronger and I wanted to be with him. By that time, his ex gf had come back into the picture!😭 He was honest about it but I just couldn’t continue what we had going on. I knew I couldn’t be happy with someone who was seeing someone else. It’s totally up to how you feel. Are you ok with him seeing other women? It sounds to me like he’s loving the fact that he has options and he’s trying to taking advantage of it. I just have a feeling you’re going to get hurt 😞 I’m sorry, timing just really sucks sometimes.
