Ear Infection?
I have a call in to our pediatrician and waiting for a nurse to call me back, but thought I’d get some other mama insight.
My son has been touching his ears for about 3 weeks now, not really tugging at them but kind of cupping his hand over his ear. He had just started doing it before his last well visit so I mentioned it and his doctor checked them, said they looked fine. Last week he developed a stuffy, runny nose (not covid - his brother had to be tested so they tested him too since his nose was runny. Both came back negative). He’s still struggling with the runny nose and since yesterday, the touching at his ears has become more frequent. He felt a little warm earlier, but his temp was 99.3 when I checked it. I feel things are complicated a little because we have been learning different body parts, including ears, so he’s more aware of them than he was before anyway.
Does this sound like it could be an ear infection?
