Mother in law 🙄

Hi all

So me and mother in law had a big fall our months ago. She is a horrible woman and called me all sorts of things including a bad mom. She doesn’t see my 18month old due to everything that happened and in my opinion If she has no respect whatsoever for me then she shouldn’t be around my son with her negativity. Me and my partner have talked over it many times and he is obviously always going to be on my side whether he agrees with me or not.

My question is what do we do when new baby is born? I know she is going to be constantly on at my partner to see new baby but I don’t feel comfortable with this AT ALL considering we don’t get on and she has done nothing but cause me stress during the pregnancy and upset me and hurt me. Do I have a right to say no after giving birth? And how would you word it?
