How did labor start for you?

With my first my water broke and contractions were instantly hard and fast. Ive been having mildly painful contractions since last night that were regular but have become less regular this morning. I woke up several times last night because of them, nausea, and a massive headache. Did anyone start off with slow contractions that progressed over a longer period of time?

With my first I had very mild contractions for about 15 hours.... but since I was a first timer I was like, “they don’t hurt so they must not be doing anything”. It was about 4 am and I asked my mom if I should go in because they were pretty consistent and she just said let me know and I’ll get ready.. I gave it about 5 min of thought while I went to the bathroom and walked into the kitchen and was bent over in pain throwing up.... I waited too long. Got to the hospital.. somewhere around 5 or 6am and delivered at 12:31pm..

My first daughter my water broke at 2:30am and I didn’t have have any contractions right away. But my waters was green/meconium. So I went to the hospital within an hour. I never had a bloody show or lost my mucus plug until

Room was around 4:30. I had my daughter at 10:30am. I’m so curious how this labour will go. Will my water break first? Will I get contractions? I’ve had a massive amount of Braxton Hicks through pretty much my whole pregnancy after 20 weeks ish. So I’m used to the tightening and uncomfortable contractions. Even lately I have been getting a lot more Braxton Hicks in the evening and starting wondering if it means something. But I wake up the next morning pregnant lol. So here I am 38 weeks 5 days patiently waiting for some sort of sign. The wait is what makes me so anxious not knowing..

With my daughter I had slow contractions that slowly got worse. Started out like period cramps and progressed very slowly. I was in labour with her for 26 hours 😒 hoping it goes quicker this time!!
