Advice?!

So my mom got me this picture for baby girl’s nursery. I’m grateful for the thought, and it even kind of matches my nursery decor, but I really really don’t like the quote 😅 It sounds superficial and I want my daughter to be so much more than “giggles and glitter.” I don’t want to seem ungrateful and I don’t want to offend my mom if she sees it’s not up when she comes to meet the baby. Am I overthinking it? What should I do?

I did that with something my husband picked out. 
He doesn’t know that’s why it’s there. 😂😂😂
I like the saying for little boys “a noise with dirt on it.”

Maybe you could just put it up for now? I know you don't really like the definition but your baby won't even know what it means for a really long time 🤷🏼‍♀️ if it bothers you that much tho, don't put it up at all & just explain that you're really grateful for the thought & appreciate that she bought it for you but you just don't like the saying/definition. She might not be offended

She won’t be able to read it so I think it’s fine to hang it up for a aesthetic for now and just take it down when she’s a few years older.

I 100% understand where you’re coming from, that wouldn’t feel right for me either. Could you put it on top of a dresser or something and just lean it temporarily up against a wall when she visits? Or you could just not put it up at all and if she asks you can be honest with her if she’s a close friend, or just say you haven’t had a chance yet?
