Did sweep work for you or not?

Would also like to know what your dilation was at the time of sweep and how far along you were.
I'm 40+5 with my second kiddo. Had a sweep 2 hours ago and other than light bleeding, no changes so far. I'm 2-3cm dilated and v.soft.
*Update*: thought I'd keep my post updated in case it's interesting for anyone who has had/will have a sweep. It's now been 22 hours since my sweep and I just lost a large part of my mucus plug. Had a few Braxton Hicks last night but nothing painful and didn't progress.

I haven’t had one yet with this pregnancy, getting it next week at my 39 week appointment but I had one done when I was exactly 40 weeks with my first and I was only dilated to 1 cm. I woke up in the middle of the night that night with consistent contractions and had him the next day!

I had my sweep yesterday and was having pretty regular contractions by last night...then they stopped. Very frustrating!

I had one last week at 37+6 and 1 cm dilated and it didnt work, I'm going today for another one at 39 weeks. Hoping it'll work this time

I had my sweep at 38 weeks, 3cm, & soft. My daughter was born 12 hours later. But I’m pretty sure labor had started right before my appointment. But before my doctor did it he told me that it could take days for labor to start

I had 3 sweeps, my last one I was just over 3cm. None worked :(

I had one one Tuesday morning. 39+2 ,some cramping and blood show but nothing else 😞

Had one Monday morning. Also walked, pumped, had sex. Its Thursday morning and no signs of labor still.

I had a sweep done Tuesday at 40+3. I had some spotting and have been losing mucus since. I was 3-4cm with a soft but long cervix when my dr checked me. 
I haven’t had any contractions yet 😞 I go for a fetal assessment tomorrow at 40+6. If the baby is under stress they will induce me tomorrow and if not I go home and wait to see my dr Tuesday with a possible induction date for Wednesday/Thursday!

My membrane sweep didn’t do anything for me. It’s been a week and still haven’t had the baby. Due tomorrow
