Can someone explain the difference between these and normal dummy’s ?

I see so many babies on here with these.. 
what’s the difference between these and regular dummy’s?

They have paid the hospitals to give these out so most babies end up stuck on them.  My first two kids used nuks.  My third uses soothies because that’s what the nicu gave him immediately after birth

I personally like nuks better because there are more fun ones to choose from but whatever baby will take is good with me 😂

They’re just a different shape. We took nicks to the hospital and my daughter refused them so we tried these. She doesn’t take it often but it does soothe her when we need it to like in the car

These are more durable and less likely to become a choking hazard later on. They can be used to administer medications. There are a lot of good things about this design.

I appreciate that they’re one single piece of material versus other brands that are two pieces that fuel my anxiety that it’ll come apart and baby will choke
