Birth control? Ftm.

I plan on breastfeeding so I can only have progesterone only birth control. My question is has any body used a birth control prepregnancy and had a bad reaction to it or didn't like it and tried it again after baby and liked it? Cause Ive heard after you have a baby your body and hormones change? Is that true? Ive tried the implant before and it made me bleed for a year and a half and it also made me have severe mood swings. Ive also used depo before and I didn't have any periods. Those are the only 2 progesterone options ive used before and I don't want to do a pill cause I feel like I would forget to take it.
