Anyone else STILL find it so hard to do things with your LO?
So ever since my son was a newborn, he was a very fussy and difficult baby.... he hated his car seat, carrier, mostly hated his stroller, and had the worst case of “witching hour.” There were countless embarrassing times at the peds office or Target when he was inconsolable.
Things got a little better when he was around 6 months because he could sit in a high chair at a restaurant or the stroller at a store. But it didn’t last long (and then of course we didn’t go out for a while due to Covid)...
Today we went to lunch and grabbed a couple things at Target. I had to leave the restaurant because he was going crazy even after attempting giving him my phone with a video/snacks/pacifier. Prior to this he went back and forth on our laps because he has like a 5 minute tolerance of the high chair.
Then we went to Target... we let him run around a little bit and then even put him in the actual cart standing up and that helped. Then I had to carry him to our car kicking and screaming because he wanted to walk on his own in the street.
I just feel like we can’t enjoy going anywhere on the weekends. Ever since he was born, I’ve been like “ok a couple more months and it will be easier.” but it never is. I’m just confused when I see babies/toddlers chilling happily in their strollers....
Ugh! Thank you for reading my rant 😝
