Should I be concerned?

Hello. First time using this app & im not sure if I’m posting this in right place. I’m 17 and my sister is 25. I live with her temporarily bc I am from out of town. She is having a party tonight & She has 2 kids and she just gave my nephew & niece a Benadryl so they can go to sleep before the party starts....... something tells me I should tell someone about this......... Not sure if I should be concerned or if it’s safe to have given them Benadryl. She said they weren’t sick or anything she gave it to them for sleep purposes only

I literally just watched a YouTube with Nancy Grace today and she was talking about cases where baby sitters were doing this and the kids died.  I'm a mom of 2 and I would never in a million years give my kids a medicine they didn't need.  Your sister has her priorities screwed up.  Im glad you at least realize this is wrong.  I'd call the police non-emergency line and report it.

Yeah this is not ok. It's child abuse. She could accidentally give them too much and kill them. You should probably call CPS. That is NOT OK.  Benadryl is for allergies not making babies sleep.

I agree that this is wrong but maybe she just doesn’t know that dangers of using Benadryl as a sleep aid. I would talk to her and recommend melatonin gummies for kids instead. Then if she was still being weird and clearly had no care for the safety of the kids say something

I don’t think you should go behind your sisters back and say something you should definitely discuss this with her. I could never imagine betraying my sister

I would talk to her about and if she still shows no concern then tell a close family member that she confides in etc
