Vaginal progesterone side effects?

Anyone have any side effects when taking progesterone vaginally? Feeling some cramps down low in my vagina. Is that a side effect of progesterone?

I previously commented in another thread that I couldn’t feel anything from the progesterone, but can now reliably report increased appetite and extreme irritability 😂

I used it rectally😣 because the doctor told us after iui we should have intercourse for the next 5 days. And it is dangerous if i use it vaginally and have an intercourse. They both have the same effect. And I was soooo bloated first few days. I looked like 8 months pregnant. None of my clothes would fit me😆. It became better after few days but I was feeling gassy still and so much irritable. I stopped at 14dpiui because iui failed😕.
