Concerned for son’s testicles in car seat?

My son is 2 and obviously still in a 3 point harness car seat, rear facing. He has the Graco 4Ever DLX. I really like the seat, it’s sturdy and comfortable. However, has anyone worried about their son’s testicles after they’re out of diapers? The strap in between the legs has to be snug for the child to be buckled in properly but I’m concerned it will be uncomfortable when he’s out of diapers (which will be soon). Is this a baseless concern?

Never bothered my son or any other boy I’ve known . Millions of boys have been in car seats if it was a problem it would of been addressed by now

My son is 4 and potty trained and rear facing in a different Graco car seat. His straps are all as snug as they’re supposed to be and he’s never complained of being in pain or uncomfortable. Sometimes I worry I’m gonna pinch his penis in the buckle or something when he’s wearing thin pants but hasn’t happened.

The graco 4ever dlx is a 5 point harness but none should be an issue for that

I've had 3 boys and it's never been an issue. Our carseat had different slots to feed the buckle through so that it's in front of their pelvis not under it as they grow. But your carseat may be different. In the US we use a 5 point harness instead of the three point.
