Tooth extraction while 28 weeks pregnant?

Long story short... I have to have a tooth pulled. A crown broke off so i only have the below the gum line part of the tooth left.

My dentist said it’s perfectly fine to do a surgical extraction with just numbing and not being put under. But online I read that you should wait till after baby because I shouldn’t be on my back that long. I’m not very big though and it needs to be done sooner than later for heal time before the next procedure.

Has anyone had lengthy procedures done at the dentist while in 3rd trimester? Any other dentists or hygienists on here? 😅
