Positive Induction Stories?

So today I am 40 + 1. Yesterday at my appointment they discovered my cervix is still ALL the way up and I’ve had no dilation. This is unusual because this is not my first child and my first came out at 38 weeks when my water broke spontaneously. My only guess is this is due to me being overweight, but that’s not the point of the post 😂

If he doesn’t come out by the 20th they are inducing me that night/the next morning, and I always see a lot of induction stories about how they didn’t work or worked very very slowly and painfully. I’m hoping some of you can provide me with some positive stories of induction where they went fairly easily so I can have at least a little bit of hope. I truly did not want to be induced at all but my body is making no changes :(
