How to take care of this hair?

I don't even know how to describe my hair honestly. It's simply put messy. It's Kind of wavy but no really wavy. It keeps tangling up, even if I comb my hair few times a day or keep it tied. I tried a bunch of stuff, bunch of different conditioners and Shampoos and hair masks ect. Anyone has any advice on what could help with keeping it Healthy and stopping it from tangling?
I'll add some pictures for better idea on how it looks.

Have you tried using a leave-in conditioner?  My hair is similar to yours and I have to “over” condition in the shower and use leave-in conditioner while it’s still wet.  Only on the bottom half.  Also, it sounds counterproductive, but when I straighten my hair(even just the part that frames my face and the back underneath part at my neck), it seems to help.

My mom has always struggled with frizzy, unruly hair. So she started oiling her hair with pure coconut oil. She basically covers her whole head, and then washes it thoroughly when done. She said it’s made a tremendous difference in how her hair behaves. Hopefully that helps!

My hair does the same thing. No matter what I put in it, no matter how much I brush it. It ends up getting tangled in like 2.5 seconds. 😒
