How long is this massacre going to go on for?!

This is my first period after getting the Nexplanon implant put in a month ago. My period started 2 days earlier than usual and so far it has been 10 days with no stopping. Some days I could go a couple hours or even overnight without a tampon and when I think its over BAM! when I use the bathroom there is blood or the gross brownish color when I wipe. My poor vajay is sore from tampons, I hate pads, and using a cup or anything freaks me out cuz I'm skeptical about using it. Just because I didn't want to have a surprise baby, my uterus is having a temper tantrum worse than my 1 year old daughter! How long am I gonna have to deal with the Battle of 300 between my lady organs?!
