Hey guys..
Checked my 10 year old sons web history and he had been looking at porn hub. There wad only one video clip he watched and it was pretty hardcore. We haven't even had the talk yet.
Advice on how to go about talking to him? Of course..phone use is about to change with parental controls .
I didn't think he was interested in that stuff yet.
Update: I let his daddy handle it. He sat him down and talked to him about it. My son told him that he has been watching porn since April ...everyday.

Just talk to him but try not to be too harsh. You don’t want to make him feel like he can never talk to you about that stuff. Maybe he wanted to but instead went to the internet to find out the information that he wanted.

I caught my brother when he was 10 because of his search history I confronted him with my mother and what had happened was children in his school were talking about it so he wanted to know what it was. We had a chat ( not going into detail because he was so young) and explained if he does have any questions we would rather he came to us then search stuff where he could click on the wrong thing and get into trouble ( our bio dad isn’t around so I’ve helped my mum with him because there is an 11 year difference). You don’t have to have a full blown sex information talk but I would let him know you have seen it and it’s unacceptable at that age to watch it and basically just ask if there’s any questions he has. Atleast then when the time does come he will feel comfortable asking you.

Definitely inform him of the harm of watching pornography. It can change the way your brain processes pleasure and can lead to feelings of having an unfulfilled sex life. There's tons of research on it! Please look into it. Fight the New Drug is a good place to start. Call me a prude, whatever, but there's people in therapy because they started young and literally cannot stop watching it years down the road and it has effected their sex life which has in turn effected their adult relationships.
Be open and honest about sex though, sex isn't weird and its normal for him to be interested, answer any questions, make it seem as normal as talking about the weather and he'll, hopefully, come to you about any other questions. 💙 Good luck.

I caught my son searching 'girls with big boobs' and '2 girls kissing' in YouTube when he was 8. I was shocked and freaked out as I didn't expect to have the talk that soon. I changed the Youtube settings, added parental controls to the tablets and computers, took away his tablet for a week, had a calm talk with him where offered to answer any questions he may have, and I bought a book explaining puberty and sex to read with him. I would suggest trying to have an open dialogue and to be calm and make him feel safe asking questions.

10 years old is late to start the sex talk that should have already happened but now that you know sit him down and talk to him and definitely put parental on his phone ASAP
