I think I’m overthinking?

My boyfriend sometimes goes out to get something to eat while we’re both home and doesn’t offer anything or even tell me he’s going to eat. 
He knows this bothers me but still does it. I would never go out to get something and not at least offer or bring something for him without him having to ask. Yes I can get my own food but it makes me feel like he doesn’t care.

My ex use to do stuff like that all of the time. Or he would wake up in the morning and make himself this huge breakfast and not offer me any of it.
My current boyfriend is the biggest sweetheart. If he goes anywhere he offers and if I say no he still gets me some of my favorites for just in case 😭❤️

I’ll be honest, I’ve done this before lol it is rude but the reason why i did it was because I wasn’t ready to be in a relationship. I still wanted to feel free and be selfish. So this may be the case here. The other reason is 1) he gets you things often and feels as if it’s not reciprocated so he’s tired of doing it for you or 2) he doesn’t have the money to do it. These are all reasons i did what I did so I bet it’s one of these three. Just talk to him and tell him that you’ll offer to pay for your portion. If he still says no then it’s most likely not the money issue.

My fiancé knows better 😂 he got food once like two years ago before he came home but didn’t get me anything because he “assumed I ate”. He assumed WRONG and I joked on him so hard about it. 😂 I called him a blood traitor and accused him of mutiny.
Now he’ll call to ask if I want anything while he’s out, even if he’s not hungry. I appreciate him so much for that. I LOVE food 😅😅
