Cyber engineering help!?!

Hello, I am a sophomore in college and I am a cyber security major. I was wondering if anybody else is having this problem if so does anybody have any solutions during this time it’s kind a hard trying to find hands on programs, experiences that I can use to put on my resume and just overall help me with my major beside school. Does anybody know of any programs hackathons available?
