Help, we’re overflowing with toys!

We now have an almost 7 month old (yikes) and my mother in law has generously offered to live with us and watch him while I finish school (7months to go). She is very sweet/ helpful but had her quirks (story for any other day). My BIGGEST complaint Is she brought TONS i mean TONS of baby stuff (2 play gyms, bouncers, seats, bins full of rattles, bags on bags of stuffed animals and blankets and over 50 silver baby spoons) I tried to be very grateful because most although used was in great quality. But now she is buying more stuff! It’s like every single day we get a new amazon box for our seven month old, most of which is really cheaply made :/ I don’t know what to say because she is so sensitive. She has already bought him 5 toys for Christmas which she brought with her and keeps ordering more (10 foam books in one day, an activity cube, a ball tower the list goes on). I told her to hold off because other family members are going to want to start purchasing Christmas gifts for him. I also told her if she has any ideas of toys I would Love to hear about them. No such luck, the stuff keeps coming, the annoying things is we actually need other things (crib sheets, clothing, shoes, sippy cups) but she only wants to buys toys leaving us to buy the basics and with no money/ room left to buy our son the stuff we might enjoy buying.
