Cooking and MIL

The other day I realized my MIL cook a lot different from one another

Not in a bad way, her food is really good, but I enjoy my meals as well.

However, I think our difference in cooking may be the reason why my SO and I bicker over food so much

I have some questions:

1. Those who cook different from their MIL, does it seem that your SO enjoys your food more or less

2. Those that cook about the same, did you learn to cook before or after you moved in with your SO

3. Those that spend time at dinner with your MIL often, do you think your cooking/what you cook has changed since you spent more time over there and with your SO, or do you think you generally cook the same as you did before
