Pumping

Hi ladies so I gave birth to my baby boy on 10/16 and today we met with a lactation consultant due to us having a hard time with his latch. My other son had a tongue so I assumed this baby would as well. So we met with the lactation consultant and she confirm with us that yes he does have a tongue tie and it’s very bad to the point where she recommends us getting it snipped. My husband and I are completely against it and do not want to get it done. My question is has anyone successfully pumped exclusively for a long time and still was able to produce a good amount of milk? At this point I’m just very discouraged and I feel like I want to give up but I’m still pumping in hopes that I will still produce milk.
