Getting my period twice in 1 month??

Okay super random, but I got my period this month about 2 weeks ago. It didn’t go smoothly, in fact that was the worst period yet. So the moment my 6 days of hell were up i felt relieved. Now we’re at the end of October, and i’m getting discharge of brown, which for me it means “my period is starting” aka the beginning of it. I’m hoping it’s not me getting my period twice in 1 month. Is that normal if that’s the case?
