Wake up to feed???

My baby is 3 weeks old, jus curious how many wake their babies up to eat vs letting them wake up on their own to eat?? I mostly pump, if I do breastfed it’s only during the day

I did the first week and a half because baby was a little early and was sleeping instead of eating (assuming took too much energy for the tot). But now I let baby wake up on their own to decide their hunger, which is every 2.5-4 hrs. Baby is now 3 weeks.

I woke my daughter up until pediatrician gave the ok to let her sleep once her weight was up to where it needed to be.

my LO wakes up every 2-3 hours on his own. but if he sleeps longer, I wake him up and never let him go past 3.5 hours without a feed. he's 3 weeks today.

I let my son wake on his own I use to wake him but he wouldn’t be hungry
