It Just Stops

The first day of my period is really heavy and I have to change my tampon after school and wear a pad to bed that first night, but then for the remainder of my cycle my period just stops at around 3 o'clock and I don't have to worry about putting in another tampon or even wearing a pad to bed, is this normal??, dose this happen to anyone else?? 😕
