Baby with super dry hair. Help!!

My baby’s hair is sooo soooo sooo dry and I don’t know why. I don’t over wash it and I was using coconut oil for the first few months of her life and it seemed to work great but after about 3 months the coconut oil stopped working. Her hair still felt and looked so dry after applying coconut oil. I have switched it up and used olive oil but that doesn’t seem to always do the trick. Any suggestions? My baby is only 8 and a half months with a medium curl type texture.
