Two year weighs a lot?

My two year old had his bday last week and he weighs exactly 34 pounds and is about 36 inches tall I think. Everyone in my family says my baby is so big and that he looks like a four year old....   
I’m ftm mom and I want to know from other parents if u think he weighs a lot too? Or have a two year old that weighs similar to my two year old ?

I don’t think he’s massive. I just looked at a growth chart out of curiosity and it puts him in the 98th percentile for weight and 91st for height, so not abnormally big🤷🏽‍♀️

My daughter was 35 lb at 18 months.   She's proportionate.   Is your son unhealthy?   Is his weight at 99% but his height's only at 50%?   People are different sizes.   Maybe he is the size of a small four year old.   What then?

My 16 month old weighs 30 lbs and is 34 inches tall. I think your little one is just fine!

It's more than my toddler was... She was 22 lbs at her 24 month appointment. 😬 But she's always been small. I wouldn't worry about what others think. As long as the pediatrician isn't concerned, I wouldn't be. Besides, their weight at this age doesn't mean they're always going to be that big or small.

I'd say he's avarage hight for a two year old. But definitely on the heavy sight. However bodies are made up differently in every body. As long as your pediatrician isn't worried, I wouldn't worry either. 
My two year old (she turned two in march) is also 91cm (36in) and she weighs 13kg (28lbs)
While my four year old is 103cm (40in) and weighs 16kg (35lbs)
They both are avarage height and avarage weight.

My son is 2.5 and weighs 35lbs. People thinks he much older then he looks because of how big he is but his pediatrician isn’t worried about it and neither am I. He’s been a big boy since he was born and always is in the high percentile for height and weight but all that matters is that he’s a healthy big boy. Don’t worry what others has to say as long as his doctor isn’t concerned then he’s fine mama.

No he’s just a bit above average! My son is 2.5, he’s 38+lbs, 38 inches tall and in size 10T(almost 11) shoes.
Above average, higher percentile and such but nothing to worry about at all! You can always speak to your pediatrician if you’re worried. My son was always in the top percentile so he’s just continuing on the curve as he should be.
