Feet swelling at 35 weeks 🤔. Normal or cause for concern?

I haven’t dealt with any edema my entire pregnancy. Most of my pregnancy, when I wasn’t active I’d have my feet kicked up in the bed but today I decided to sit in the living room watch some movies and knit. I think I sat there for 4 hours before I urgently needed to use the restroom. When I stood up my feet felt different and when I looked down I was surprised at how swollen they were... I know a lot of women swell up during pregnancy but didn’t know if it was a pregnancy symptom in general or due to underlying reasons? Should I be concerned or join the club?

Could go either way, check in with doctor but don’t worry until they tell you to. If I have take out or don’t drink a certain amount of water everyday mine start to swell but I adjust and it goes back to normal.

Sitting in place for 4 hours and having your feet swell is normal the blood/ liquid is pooling as you sit. It would happen with my first pregnancy when I was working, so I got a standing desk that was I could move around and keep the blood circulating.

Sudden swelling may need to be evaluated, I would call my ob/nurse for advice

Join the club girl🤣 I’ve had foot swelling since I’d say around 25-28weeks and its been on and off since then, currently 33weeks and 4days. Everyone women’s different though or the frequency of it and when it starts. But third trimester comes with just as many “symptoms” if not more than than first trimester.😩 at least in my experience this is also my first pregnancy.
