Follow up question (kidney infection)

Hello, sorry to bombard you all with questions. You can probably tell I’m an anxious one. So I posted the other day about reoccurring uti issues, went to the urgent care on Wednesday and was put on an antibiotic called cefpodoxime pro for 7 days. My issue is that I am still burning but not in the way a typical uti would be burning. It almost feels like a dry sex rub burning (tmi) where it just burns as if I had a cut (I don’t) I do not have an urgency to pee. The burning comes and goes by the hour and is usually like this a couple of hours a day. My question is whether I need to go back to UC. I have taken about 3/7 days worth of medication and I still don’t feel great, however the symptoms have changed. Nausea has gotten better but still comes back sometimes. Is this part of recovering?
