Need Help!?

I’ve been chatting to a guy for about 2 weeks. We chat maybe every second day.. Sometimes everyday. We were texting last night and we were talking about jogging because we both have an interest in it. He asked me where I usually jog and I asked him too. He said there’s a nice mountain thing that he likes to jog around and he said that we should go there together. I liked the idea so I agreed. So then he says “have you got any angry ex’s that annoy you” (something along those lines anyway). I replied “No, I don’t keep in touch with any of them. Have you?” And then he said “No I don’t, I just don’t want anything to get too messy haha”. Do you guys think he’s being honest? Is he just looking out for himself?
