Ever felt like this as a teen?

If you had a job as a teen, did you ever feel like you need to gift people things weather it was for their birthday or other holidays because you finally had got a job?

I did feel that responsibility....because I had to grow up too fast. 
I think as a teen, your main job is to be a student. If you’re working, hopefully the idea is to save it for college or an apartment or a car..etc
The cool thing about earning your own money is that you can spend it on whatever you want. Don’t feel pressure to buy things for adults.

as a teen i just got people cards. my family wanted me to put as much money into investments and my retirement accounts instead. i mostly spent out of the allowance my parents gave me.
