When does the pain stop??

I had a c-section October 6th. After 2 weeks I felt great. I wasn't even taking pain meds anymore. Went and got my Staples taken out and the next morning woke up in extreme pain. Called my ob and got looked at. I had developed an infection around my incision. Took antibiotics for 1 week and it just got worse. Went back to my Doctor and he put me on stronger IV antibiotics. Today is day 4 of the new meds. I'm noticing a slight difference, but when will the pain stop?
Has anyone experienced this? It is so difficult to do anything besides take care of my sweet baby. And even that is difficult because of how much it hurts. 
I need words of encouragement to get through this. Cuz the pain is driving me crazy!
Also, did the antibiotics make you lose your appetite?

Well ladies, I wish I could tell you that I'm finally pain free. 
Monday morning I went back to my OBGYN because I was in so much pain and the infected area looked really bad. My OBGYN sent me to a wound specialist who immediately sent me to the ER. I ended up having emergency surgery Monday night because my infection had developed a really big deep abscess. Plus there was skin that died and turned black. So they had to cut out the dead stuff and drain the infected stuff. I feel like crap still, but hopefully I'm finally on my way to being pain free.

I was on the antibiotics for over a week before I got any relief the pain slowly subsided to where I only needed to take paracetamol, I remember the pain is horrible so sorry you are going through this hopefully you have people to help.

I ended up back in hospital the day after I got discharged with a severe infection. The pain was horrific, I was on 3 different strong IV antibiotics around the clock. I found I got minimal pain relief until my wound actually popped open and drained after 4 days in hospital. It was instant relief. I really hope your wound isn't as bad as mine was. You should get relief as the infection starts to subside.

The infection is probably causing so much pain. So hopefully after a day or so of antibiotics you will get some relief. Definitely try to eat, because the antibiotics could make you sick to your stomach. Good luck!
