How long did it take you to buy your first home..

From starting the paper work (I hear it’s like a month)

To looking (depends on person and market)

And to getting accepted by the person who was selling (sorry I don’t know terms right now)

How many houses did you try to purchase before you got one?

Where you in a big city or less populated area?

Just trying to get an idea of when we need to start looking. We are from a big city in Texas there are a lot of houses around here so I feel we have a good chance of finding one fast but still curious.

Any advice you learned from buying a house would be amazing :) i don’t know a lot except get your debt down, credit up and save as much as possible.

I don’t think we will be able to put down a lot though so that also has me worried.
