Would you be offended if someone pointed out expired food at your house? (Read description)

Let me explain:

It’s your house, you guys the food, groceries etc.. and you have people over. You’re a gracious host who tells them to eat whatever they want, you really don’t mind them rummaging through your pantry for a snack. This snack just so happens to be for their child.

Anyways.. you get up and are in the kitchen with them, picking up and offering foods from the fridge, trying to help them find a snack. They find quite a few expired items (that you’re offering). They mention that the items are expired (not in a rude way or anything. Just stating the fact)
